This was my first attempt at set lighting. I wanted to start with a small manageable set so I picked the Carnage bust as my experimental experience.
The first thing that is important to note is that the wires and connectors are small! If you have large hands or aren't very dextrous, this might be difficult. As a PC builder in my spare time, I have a lot of experience with small connections and wiring, which was helpful. The connectors will only fit one way, and once you have it aligned properly they will connect easily. Don't force anything, and just proceed with care.
Secondly, patience is a must! This isn't something that should be rushed. Set aside a good workspace and give yourself enough time. These are small, thin wires and tiny connectors, so approach this with care. If you follow the directions carefully and go step by step, you'll get through it easily. Everything mimics the instructions. Don't go off-script!
The final product is something to be proud of. The display of the bust with lighting really brings the set to life and gives you a new appreciation for your build.
I highly recommend starting small and working up to a larger lighting project. Now that I've had this experience I'm really looking forward to lighting something on a bigger scale.
