Looks and works great and cabin still playable
I really liked that you can still take the roof off the cabin and play inside as my toddler loves to take the people in and out and pretend they are having dinner in there. The build was relatively easy compared to other sets. So far I have not had issues with the wiring interfering with the train going around the tracks. I received this as a gift and unfortunately the gifted ordered the version with the wrong cable for the power functions I have. In the video I currently have the lights powered with a flat pack from another set. The lights in the cabin, tree and front of the train are weak for this reason but on the plus side the flat pack fits neatly in the first train where the other cables from the power function are and is reachable to turn off and on so you can run the train without the lights if you want. I've tried messaging customer service 3 times to get the correct cable but unfortunately the folks ice spoken with either don't understand what I'm saying, they don't get back to me or they don't respond altogether. Strange because the customer service for all the other sets I've done this month has been excellent.
