Description

This Flicker Effects Boards is great for achieving a more realistic fire or water flicker effect. Physical dimensions are 13mm width x 13mm length x 3mm height. It contains 3 output channel and 1 input channel. Each output channel will flicker at a slightly different rate.

Please note: This effects board can only be used for static lights. It can NOT control our Flashing or Rotating Bit Lights.

Powering Options: If you wish to use the 2 output ports for 2-6 bit lights then the Flat or Round Battery Pack will be sufficient. If you wish to combine this effect board with more lights, expansion boards, and connecting cables you will require more power from an AA Battery Pack or USB Power Cable.

Great and easy way to bring life to your models!

This flicker board is truly easy to use. By connecting it to a few LEDs, you can easily create a dynamic content and bringing live to your creations. Using it for any burning fire is obvious. Personally, I've used it for the engines of a starship in order to provide something more dynamic that would reflect power adjustments while flying. The resulting effect is simply great. In the attached video, one flicker board is used with 3 engines connected to output 1, 3 others to output 2 and the 2 remaining engines to output 3.

The heart of any fire.

With three independent outputs, this one can control a complex fire, or three small fires. The board is small enough to easily hide within the base plate, or in a small utility cabinet as I have done in this case
